Minimising Flood Risk with a Dishwasher
Tuesday April 12 2016A dishwasher handy hint that may save you time and money!
No one wants to arrive home from work or after a great holiday to find the house flooded because the dishwasher has leaked.
This is a common problem because dishwasher hoses are connected to the mains water supply and over time the pressure can cause hoses to split and crimped ends to fatigue. In order to minimise flood risk, although it is an inconvenience due to the location, taps that supply the dishwasher with water should be turned off after every use. This is also handy opportunity to check both inlet and outlet hoses for wear and tear.
